Monsters & Misfits IV – Tokyo

Aaaarghhhh! My publications on this blog are becoming more widely spaced! It’s true that I write more easily update my Facebook page as this, so feel free to subscribe if you want more regular updates! RIGHT HERE

I just returned from Japan where I was participating for the second time in a sculpture exhibition “Monsters & Misfits IV” curated by Brandt Peters, Kathie Olivas and Shinji Nakako. It was just great, I could finally meet the Japanese fans, talk with them, thanks to their unique enthusiasm also visit Tokyo and see friends for almost a week! I come head full of images and inspiration re-energized by the trip! Here are some pictures of what I did for the show, and a video, you can follow this LINK to see more and also buy those that are still available.

After this short break I’m back to work, late on everything, with lots of fun projects next exhibition, sculptures, toys and self publishing …

Je reviens tout juste du Japon ou je participais pour la seconde fois à une exposition de sculptures “Monsters & Misfits IV” organisée par Brandt Peters, Kathie Olivas et Shinji Nakako. C’était tout simplement génial, j’ai pu enfin rencontrer les fans Japonais, échanger avec eux grace à leur enthousiasme unique, visiter également Tokyo et voir des amis pendant près d’une semaine ! Je reviens la tête pleine d’images et d’inspiration reboosté par ce voyage ! Voici quelques photos des pièces que je présentais là-bas, et une petite vidéo. Après cette courte pose je me remets au travail, en retard sur tout, avec pleins de chouettes projets, prochaine expo, sculptures, jouets et auto-édition….

This is a sneak peek of my contribution to the upcoming show in one week ! So happy to participate to this show with so much talented artists ! It’ll be awesome, be sure to check the other pieces !

The Skelve was designed by Stranger Factory owners Brandt Peters & Kathie Olivas, and quickly became an omnipresent figure in paintings, drawings, sculpture and more. The Skelve has become the mischievous face of both Stranger Factory and Circus Posterus, and has been featured in gallery shows from Albuquerque to Japan.

“Conjuring Mischief” opens May 2nd and runs through June 1st, with an opening reception on Friday, May 2nd from 6 – 9 PM.

Peechu & Mew for Bewitching III

Halloween is almost here and an exhibition will be held at Stranger Factory on 11 October ! Here are two of the four sculptures that will be presented there! Peechu and his charming look and Mew and his ghosts worms. I suggest you watch carefully all parts of other artists because it may be quite incredible and amazing things as always at Stranger Factory !

Halloween arrive à grand pas et une exposition aura lieu chez Stranger Factory dés le 11 octobre ! Voici 2 des 4 sculptures qui seront présentées là-bas ! Peechu avec son regard charmeur et Mew et ses vers fantômes. Je vous conseille de guetter attentivement toutes les pièces des autres artistes car il risque d’avoir des choses assez incroyables et étonnantes comme toujours chez Stranger Factory !!

Bewitching III show – Next Month

I am currently working on the next Group exhibition ” Bewitching III ” to be held next month at Stranger Factory ! I have fun and it will be an opportunity to showcase and sell new sculptures of my little creatures ! I used my experience with the ones I made for “Monsters & Misfits III” to try to improve, refine both in sculpture than painting. I hope you enjoy them. Here is an overview of these ongoing.

Je travaille actuellement sur la prochaine expo commune “Bewitching III” qui se déroulera le mois prochain chez Stranger Factory !! Je m’amuse beaucoup et ce sera l’occasion de présenter et de vendre de nouvelles sculptures de mes petites créatures ! Je me suis servi de mon expérience sur celles que j’ai réalisées pour “Monsters & Misfits III” pour essayer de les améliorer, de les affiner tant au niveau de la sculpture que de la peinture. J’espère qu’elles vous plairont. Voici un petit aperçu de celles-ci en cours.
